Rob appreciates the importance of protecting your investment.

Unlike many other competitors that use a one-step cleaning process we have several procedures used depending on the needs of our customer.

Cleaning methods

  • Pressure washing is a cleaning method that utilizes high-pressure water to clean exterior surfaces.  Typically, this process is used on hardscapes such as sidewalks, walkways, and patios. High pressure washing should be done by a professional to prevent injury and major damage to the surface being cleaned
  • Power washing: This is a similar method to pressure washing except utilizing hot water. Water temperatures range between 140- 200 degrees Fahrenheit. This cleaning method is ideal for grease, gum, gas and oil stains removal.
  • Soft washing is a cleaning technique that applies low-pressure water combined with a professional cleaning detergent to safely clean your exterior surfaces. The quality and type of detergent used are an essential part to this cleaning method.  This cleaning method for the more fragile surfaces of your home’s exterior.

Soft Wash Truck

Soft Washing

Soft washing is a cleaning method used primarily for delicate surfaces that could be damaged by the high-pressure of traditional power washing. Instead of using high-pressure water, soft washing employs a gentle stream of water combined with specialized cleaning solutions to remove dirt, algae, mold, mildew, and other contaminants. The cleaning solutions used in soft washing typically include biocides, detergents, and surfactants, which break down organic material and ensure long-lasting cleanliness without harming the surface underneath.

Key characteristics of soft washing:

  • Low pressure: The water pressure is much lower compared to pressure washing, typically ranging from 40 to 80 PSI (pounds per square inch), which prevents damage to surfaces.

  • Use of chemical solutions: Special cleaning agents are used to target specific contaminants like algae, mold, and mildew.

  • Long-lasting results: Since the cleaning solutions often include mold inhibitors and other agents, the surfaces stay clean for a longer period compared to traditional cleaning methods.

Examples of soft washing applications:

  1. Roof cleaning: Soft washing is ideal for cleaning roofs, especially shingles, tiles, or other fragile roofing materials. It safely removes mold, algae, and dirt without damaging the roofing material.

  2. House siding: Whether it's vinyl, stucco, or wood, soft washing is effective at removing dirt, mildew, and algae without damaging the siding or causing paint to peel.

  3. Decks and patios: Wooden or composite decks, as well as concrete patios, benefit from soft washing to remove contaminants while preserving the integrity of the material.

  4. Fences: Wood or vinyl fences can be cleaned using soft washing to remove dirt and mold, extending their lifespan and appearance.

  5. Concrete surfaces: Driveways, sidewalks, and other concrete areas can be soft-washed to remove stains, moss, and other buildups.

Overall, soft washing is a gentler, safer alternative to power washing for more delicate surfaces, ensuring both effective cleaning and long-term protection.

Gutter Cleaning

Power Washing

Power washing (also known as pressure washing) is a cleaning method that uses high-pressure water to remove dirt, grime, mold, mildew, algae, and other contaminants from surfaces. The force of the water can be adjusted depending on the material being cleaned, but power washing typically uses much higher water pressure than soft washing, often ranging from 1,500 to 4,000 PSI (pounds per square inch). This makes it an effective method for cleaning tough, durable surfaces that can handle the pressure.

Key characteristics of power washing:

  • High pressure: The key feature of power washing is the high water pressure, which helps to blast away stubborn dirt and contaminants quickly.

  • Effective on tough surfaces: Power washing is best for hard, durable materials that can withstand intense pressure without getting damaged.

  • Hot water option: Some power washing units can use hot water, which enhances the cleaning ability by breaking down grease, oil, and other hard-to-remove substances.

Examples of power washing applications:

  1. Driveways and sidewalks: Concrete, asphalt, and brick surfaces are often power washed to remove dirt, stains, oil, moss, and algae buildup.

  2. Exterior building surfaces: Power washing is commonly used for cleaning brick, stone, and concrete walls. It's ideal for removing dirt, stains, and mildew.

  3. Decks and patios: Although more delicate materials like wood can be damaged by excessive pressure, power washing can be effective on hard surfaces such as stone or composite decking to remove dirt and debris.

  4. Fences: Power washing can be used on durable fence materials like vinyl and metal to clean off dirt, mold, and mildew.

  5. Cars and boats: While power washing isn't always recommended for vehicles due to potential damage to sensitive parts, it can be useful for cleaning large, durable surfaces like trucks, RVs, or boats.

  6. Outdoor furniture: Durable, weather-resistant outdoor furniture made from metal or plastic can be power washed to remove dirt, bird droppings, and other contaminants.
